Cristina is originally from Spain and has lived in South Wales for the past 12 years with her husband and son. She graduated with a Masters in Chiropractic degree in 2015, from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in Treforest. She is also a member of the British Chiropractic Association and registered with The General Chiropractic Council and has worked for over a year in Carmarthen developing and strengthening her Chiropractic skills until joining our clinic.
During her final year of clinical training, Cristina was very popular with her patients, especially the elderly and pregnant ladies and says that ’watching my patients leave the clinic with a better sense of wellbeing, makes me feel that I have the best job in the world! Furthermore, being a mother opened my interest in the vast array of benefits chiropractic care can offer in paediatric wellbeing’.
Cristina’s view of Chiropractic is to enhance optimal wellbeing and improve quality of life by looking at the individual as a whole, which includes nutrition, movement and mental wellbeing. With a continual interest in health, Cristina knew that she wanted to be part of a profession which could help achieve these goals by applying the hands-on and drug-free approach. Chiropractic was the perfect profession to offer this.
Cristina also utilises taping and acupuncture (dry needling) and applies a wide variety of different Chiropractic techniques, reinforcing that every patient requires the best possible care which should be tailored to specific individual needs.
Hiking in the beautiful South Wales countryside with her family and dog and cross training activities are to mention but a few hobbies. She is excited to utilise her skills within our clinic for the individuals in Merthyr and the surrounding valleys.
